Descrizione
Treated using an ingenious cryogenic freezing process, Dean Markley Blue Steel strings pull bright and defined tone out of any standard-scale electric bass, and do it for way longer. This medium-gauged .045 to .105 set also brings the power, thanks to the more fierce and sparkling response of the stainless-steel core and winding, which has more mix-punching presence than nickel-plated steel strings. The special Blue Steel strengthening process shrinks any microscopic holes in the material, stopping any corrosives from getting inside and reducing wear. This also has a pretty big influence on the sound, where the frequencies that cause shrill trebles or swamp-like basses are essentially removed, leaving behind an extremely balanced output, impressive playability and an extended lifespan.

Delivery at home was very fast :)!
Well balanced, ideal for rock (Metallica, ACI, Pantera, Soungarden ect...). Used on Precision and Spector. Both basses responds better to these strings than with the D'addarios Pro Steel, and got much closer to the Pantera sound I was aiming for. OK for detuning to C. I wouldn't buy thicker gauge. Exactly what I was looking for. Happy with my purchase.
